This time around it was borderline disgusting. The shrimp fried rice was overcooked, and the orange chicken was extremely dry. I 'm not sure how this was even possible. There must have been a change in the cook because even the veggie egg rolls were just dough, no veggies in the middle. The egg foo young was a hard deep fried hot mess . Never going back..EVER! Went for lunch today for the first time. I had the spring rolls and the vermicelli bowl with curry chicken and I asked them to add tofu as well. Everything was delicious. I only wish that they added a little more chicken.
Doesn 't look like much when yo walk by, the first thing to greet you is the front door which had the appearance of an entire class of preschoolers who had pushed the door open with greasy hands, should have been the first warning. It was 1:30 when we arrived, and not another soul was in the place, that should have been the second warning, but it was recommended by a good friend so we stayed. I ordered the sesame chicken, and my dinner guest had chop suey. The meal came with soup described as vegetable, there were three pieces of celery in mine with some other bits of green. In three words, it was bad The sesame chicken out to be soggy fried chicken chunks with orange sauce over it, and of course to make it authentic some sprinkled sesame seeds. In six words, it was worse than the soup . It ranks right up there with the worst lunch I have ever eaten. In the car I asked my friend how her lunch was. She is a far nicer person than I am, her reply was in three words, it was okay . Translation, it was garbage. Go ahead and try it, but you have been warned, or maybe by chance they do something right, it 's your money, but you will get a far superior meal at any of the Green Valley fast food shops, and not have to tip for a bad meal. Oh, and the 6.95 lunch special they still show on the internet is now 8.95, more pain for the buck. My prediction, unless the owner also owns the strip mall, they are out of business in one year.
After about 5 minutes of eating, my friend found a green and brown WORM in her beef and broccoli. Went to return the food, and they immediately gave us a refund, stating how they got their broccoli from a new vendor and that they spotted some of the worms on the vegetable. They told me that they rinsed and washed the broccoli well enough to where they thought they got all the worms out, but I guess they missed one. Doesn't help the fact that the company knowingly saw bugs on their produce and still decided to serve it to their customers anyways. My coworker looked at her company card (which the meal was paid on) and saw that while the company indeed did refund the meal itself, they decided to keep the tip for themselves. One way or another, they found a way to make sure we still paid them for finding worms in our food. Absolutely disgusting food. Disgusting business practices. I will be filing a report with the green valley health inspector and the better business burrow over this incident. Go to panda house a few shops down. They're prices are better, you get more food for your buck, and I've yet to find any bugs in my broccoli! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
