The restaurant was empty when I arrived, but it took them 20 minutes to serve my meal. The ribs were warm but also a bit cold, with a thick BBQ sauce coating them. Unfortunately, the sauce and the meat were both cold, making it a bit disappointing. The lamb ribs had a strong mutton-like flavor that didn't quite work for BBQ ribs. The chips were also cold. Overall, I didn't feel like the portion was worth the $43 price tag. Many people were using Groupon vouchers, which made me wonder if they were enjoying their meals more. The service was okay, but a bit slow since there were only two servers working on a Sunday night before Anzac Day. I would give two stars to the service staff, but not to the restaurant as a whole.
The meal that the 4 of us had at this restaurant where great value for money especialy being in a pension.
Went here on a Friday night, The place was empty! Service was good, the waitress was really nice. Ordered our food, it came out on massive plates, very oversized and the table wasn't the biggest for the big plates. Steak was good, but not great. Was a little over done for my liking and not much taste to it. The best part was the chips! Oh and the music if you are a country music fan! Once dinner was done, getting the bill was the hard part. Felt like the staff had finished serving and they were done with us. Not sure I would go back again. Over priced for what we got..
This place was fantastic and so unexpected. Great food and brilliant service. The ribs were incredible as was the wagyu beef burger. Great family place lovely staff and lots of parking
