Went at 8pm on a Saturday and were surprised the place wasn’t crowded. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was really good too, making the whole experience 5* for us! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food is fine, but we it would be nice if teachers, community activists, or social workers were included in the group of heroes that this restaurant chooses to honor. Ribs were highly recommended by friends. They were graded OK from my perspective. I like my ribs kind of crispy bbq. The sides of greens and baked beans were excellent. I appreciate the military sacrifices as a civilian patronizing this business. If you are in or around one of there businesses give them I try. Updated: The key to getting good BBQ here is to choose moist when they ask if you want it lean, (who wouldn 't? or moist. Go for the moist option and you get a juicy, flavorful sandwich that isn 't overly greasy. The sides here are great. I like the mac cheese and baked beans. I 've been back twice since discovering the moist option.
