Plenty of parking lots of seats great view on a pier staff was very friendly the surrounding is very safe lots of easy going friendly people walking around I think the food trucks where at Hog island but on a Sunday you can see a big banner sign on the road anyway they have the best sweet potato waffle fries I've ever tasted in my entire life so far I highly recommend you stop by and eat some if you're around that area!!!!
The food was lackluster, but the service was friendly. I generally enjoy exploring new eateries and supporting local businesses. However, I feel it's important to mention that this establishment displays anti-Palestine sentiments with noticeable stickers and signs on the side of the truck. For me, the quality of food is closely tied to the values of those preparing it. We should aim to support individuals and businesses that contribute positively to our community. The intolerance shown by Casablanca is not something that aligns with those values, and as a result, I won’t be returning. I kindly suggest others consider doing the same.
I love this food truck. It's so good, the people are so nice, and they put their own spin on traditional dishes. Whatever the other people on here are saying... lighten up.
Hi Orly! I stopped by to get a falafel, and I absolutely loved it—it was so delicious! I hope you’ll reconsider and come back to the Nextdoor forum. That woman's post was removed, and she might have just been having a tough day. It would be wonderful to hear your thoughts. Keep up the great cooking! Thank you!
The owner of this restaurant hails from Tiburon, a predominantly white, self-segregated town. Recently, a customer shared her experience on Nextdoor, detailing how the owner/operator responded to an Asian woman asking about the meat options for her falafel, which included a derogatory joke about cat or dog. Despite multiple chances to rectify the situation and recognize the racial insensitivity of her comment, owner Orly Lanyadoo chose to double down, stating that if the Asian customer couldn’t appreciate her humor, perhaps her food truck wasn't for her. I wholeheartedly agree that it’s definitely not for me. The falafel itself is as unappetizing as the owner’s attitude and worldview. When considering reviews, it’s important to keep in mind those from locals who find such jokes acceptable.
