It was excellent. the food and the staff were great! we would go back there.

We were very disappointed by Friday night. we have been in sedgleys since I graduated in 1985. we were not in over 5 years and it is not likely that we will return. at the beginning there were 4 of us. the cheese and the crackers arrived with 8 small crackers. then one of the “server” came with a side of shrimp cocktail and 3 times we had to ask him what he said, how they don’t hear/understand—that for an additional fee they could have a shrimp cocktail, but he didn’t know what the load was. I didn't care for the cocktail, but he didn't know. then is it an additional fee for the pop over we wanted to add? two of our guests ordered datei mignon medium rare-it was near roher. they were only sent back to a new dish with a little sauce above him, still raw. They never fixed the meat so that two of our guests have never eaten their main meal. she has thrown it to the servers of attention and she has just told us that she is sorry. the salat had leaves so big that my 76-year-old mother simply abandoned and not disturbed and 3 of us had slimy devastated salat in our bowl. then to finish the meal, my main rib was amazing, but I looked after and my mother had still 95% of her flesh. I asked her what the problem was and she showed me the haare who was over her head rib. of course, when the $262 bill came, I wasn't too happy to pay all this for the experience. I had been running over this place for months and traveled while we planned the trip. Never was the answer from my party. $314 dinner with lace and there was something with every meal that was sub par. very disappointing.

A special dining experience in today's fast and non stop world. Time to enjoy your meal and surroundings. Wonderful food, understated ambiance yet warm and inviting and an attentive staff. A unique place for a special occasion or just a great meal.
