The Pad See You with chicken and shrimp was very flavorful and hot (not spicy, the temp was hot) and the veggie dumplings were good. I don't recommend ordering the dumplings Togo because they get soggy. The fried Oreos were SO DANG TASTY!! They come with a chocolate dipping sauce.
Love love their menu! Vegetarian options: I eat meat but have seen tofu avail Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Orange Chicken, Country Style Pad Thai, Pad Thai
The food at this local Thai fixture of Greenfield has seriously declined. It's a bit perplexing as it used to be a decent eatery with a lovely ambience and some halfway decent flavors. It's not so concerning that they switched from in house dining to takeout only. (You can eat in the restaurant but it's all takeout containers, plastic silver etc. And one third of the space is a make-shift stock room. This wouldn't matter at all of the food was even pretty good. I mean, one has to be realistic about what we're gonna get out here. But my experience over the last year or two is that the food has little flavor and the care in the preparation have gone south. Tonight I had Crispy House Pad Thai. It was very dry, flavorless, and over cooked. My wife had Thai Basil which felt soggy and underwhelming. The Chicken Satay appetizer--dry and without much flavor. The Salmon Rangoon was ok. I had lunch a few weeks back and my experience with a different series of appetizers and dishes was equally undelicious. Service and folks behind the counter all fine and good.
The pork dumplings were good if a little oily. The hot and sour soup had a very flavorful broth, but only two pieces of shrimp. If it were just for the appetizers, I'd probably give four stars. Unfortunately, the entrees were just really terrible. We ordered Thai chicken basil and red curry, both of which are supposed to be spicy, and neither had any flavor at all. The red curry barely even looked yellow since it was so diluted in the coconut milk. We took about two bites of each dish before taking the food home to season ourselves. The orange chicken here is better then anywhere I've ever had! Portions are great and prices are fair! I have never had a bad experience
