Fantastic night tonight for our Greenhead/Henshaw staff Christmas meal. Will definitely be going back for more joint staff occasions!! Thank you for being so attentive and accommodating; the food was beautiful!

Loved it. Great warm room especially great when outside temperature was -4 degrees. Bed comfy. Food very good, lovely full English breakfast , good evening meal selection.Def worth a visit.

Comfortable, friendly, and accommodating with excellent food. Myself and a group of ladies stayed here to do a Hadrian's wall challenge and the owner's of this establishment drove us to and from the start and finish line without any questioning. Would definitely stay again and recommend highly.

Me and my husband came for Sunday lunch today it was absolutely lovely one of the best we have had. Food was piping hot, couldn't fault it at all. Very generous portions aswell. Would definitely recommend.

Stephen and I booked a room at the castle on a whim. I'm so pleased we did. We had a lovely time. The staff bent over backwards they made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a delicous evening meal and breakfast cooked by Carol. The inn is just our kind of place surrounded by beautiful countryside. The fire was roaring and the drinks were flowing served by the Jamiroquai look alike. Lizzy was very attentive and Gary extremely easy to chat to and down to earth. The room was very cosy and we slept really well. We are certainly going to return with our dog and do some walking.
