Bill's Pizza Pub - Greensboro

The best pizza, hands down! I highly recommend the Pub Special. It's one of the rare places that has consistently maintained the quality of its ingredients and has become a staple in North Carolina. The salads are fantastic too, with generous toppings. The drive to get here is always worth it!

When I arrived to pick up my order, the young woman at the counter took a few moments to find my pizza and even asked how to spell my name. Since this was a phone order, I assumed they would have it on record, but I had to spell "Dino" for her. Thankfully, the manager was able to locate it quickly after that. Upon bringing the pizza home, it smelled great, reminiscent of what you might find at a pizza pub. However, the taste was just average. To make matters worse, the box and the paper inside were soaked in grease to the point where it was coming through the box. The crust was practically non-existent, resembling a piece of cardboard. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience.

Always delicious and indulgent! The thin crust is generously topped, making it impossible to finish in one sitting. Since it's so heavily loaded, it can get soggy and stick to the box, so I recommend placing wax paper underneath if you plan to save it for breakfast the next day. We usually order the pub special, leaving out the green peppers and adding jalapeños instead. We prefer takeout, as other reviews suggest the dining experience isn't particularly upscale. However, the takeout service is always spot on and incredibly fast. If you love more toppings than crust, this is the best pizza in town!

The food here is really excellent. It's a bit hidden away, but definitely worth the trip.

Been a customer for years. Always great hot food never had a bad experience. Staff is always friendly just a great place to eat also kid friendly!!! My grandson loves it also lol
