Church's Texas Chicken - Greensboro

This is the first time I visited the mlk location in years. the service has improved so much! the current manager ray jordan has brought a new entry to this place! eating was fresh and hot, I didn't have to wait until they cook okra, it was nice and hot and tasted very good. I had no problems with the service. the load was clean, the parking was clean. very impressive. good work! will definitely return!

I stopped by here around 1:30 PM on a Wednesday afternoon. As I drove around to park, I looked at the sanitation rating on the drive-through window, and it was a 91.3. I parked and went inside. There was 3 people in front of me. There is no seating inside, so the only option is to go. I ordered at 1:40pm. I got the Texas 2 piece feast which “INCLUDES LEG THIGH, REG CLASSIC SIDE, HONEY-BUTTER BISCUIT, JALAPENO and LARGE DRINK” for $8.99. I got mashed potatoes as my side. I asked if I could sub the jalapeño, but I couldn’t. My drink was sweet tea. Staff was patient and friendly. I got my food almost immediately. My tea was sweet, which was great. Sweet tea at many places isn’t southern style sweet. Since my biscuit wasn’t as soft as I wanted or expected. It was simply decent. The mashed potatoes, which I ate when I got home later on, were good. No complaints. The chicken was tasty. They did forget to give me silverware, so I had to go inside and get one. Fortunately, I was still in the parking lot.

Chicken sandwich was straight nasty...old... Dogs had a good time eating it bc I couldn't... Sad part is they have gotten just as pricey as any other chicken place and if you are going to raise your prices like that your food needs to be on point at ALL times!!! Very disappointed in that sandwich!!!

The customer service was pleasant. The food was decent but not as heavily seasoned as I remember. Perhaps I should cut back on the heavy seasoning myself. As for the peach cobbler, it didn’t impress me that much.

I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I ordered 2 three piece meals which on the website states that it comes with 2 sides but they said it only came with one. In the end I only received 4 pieces of chicken no sides. By the time I realized it they were closed so I returned the next day to get a refund they informed me that they do not do refunds. They offered to remake the order but I would have to wait 10 minutes for chicken. I wasn’t willing to wait so they only remade one box. I will not be returning to this restaurant I was very disappointed!!
