Harper's - Greensboro

This was our first time visiting here, it does require you to make a reservation before arriving. Upon arrival this hostess was pleasant and so was our waitress. We ordered the devil eggs topped with bacon which was really good followed by a popular cocktail ? which I didn?t remember the name of it but very good. The entree however was not good at all. I ordered a wood grilled salmon and arugula salad and it was basic nothing to brag about. My girlfriend got the lemon and herb chicken rotisserie chicken with Mac n cheese and string beans, she only love the mac n cheese everything else was flavorless. Definitely wouldn?t go back but we wanted to try something new and give it our honest feedback.

The service was outstanding, and our waitress was both excellent and friendly. She was very helpful in assisting my wife and me with our meal choices. The steak was cooked to perfection, and my wife absolutely loved her burger. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We will definitely dine there again.

The appetizer, deviled eggs, was overcooked and had a rubbery texture. The main course, pork BBQ, was overboiled and inedible. I really wish the manager had been present to address our concerns, and if we had known sooner, I would have brought it to their attention. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving both meals uneaten. When I checked the receipt, I noticed we were also overcharged by $2 per meal compared to the prices on the menu. I've attached pictures to show the discrepancy between what we paid and the menu prices. We chose not to discuss this with the staff directly; instead, we paid $4 just to leave this review. Be cautious!

This classic diner offers a cozy atmosphere with nostalgic cabin-style seating and a menu full of delicious American dishes. The drip coffee was quite good, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, the highlight of the meal was the fries; both the truffle and sweet potato varieties were absolutely delicious!

The chicken veggies were grilled for perfection, truffle fries amazing, salad crispy dessert impeccable.
