Depending on the day the service can get a little busy, that's to be expected. The patio is my favorite part of this place. They have plants crawling up the outer walls, and it looks so pretty despite overlooking the parking lot. The food is so fresh and delicious. They have twists on classic southern recipes. It's definitely a place for a cheat day. You don't want to count calories here or miss out on the fried, baked, and buttered dishes!
First time trying this place out and will definitely be back! Such a cute atmosphere inside and out! Employees were very nice! The food was to die for! I took pictures of everyone food, but I will say that almond banana pancake was amazing! Just the right amount of sweet without it being overpowering. The pancake itself was so delicious and wasn't too thin or too big. The cheese grits are a must! The best grits I had when I was there to visit!
I want to preference this review with it's GHOE weekend in Greensboro. Wait times were long, but with thousands of people descending on Greensboro that was expected. I went to Scrambled today with my mother, sister, and cousin. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely go again. Prior to arriving at Scrambled, we put our name on the wait list. Once was arrived, we checked in with the hostess and still waited about another 30/45 minutes prior to being seated (cc: above disclaimer). We were seated in a table in the corner it felt a little dark compared to the rest of the restaurant, but nothing that we would really complain about. It's really a basic breakfast food spot your eggs, bacon, pancake/waffles, etc. I personally got the steak and eggs and it was okay. It cost $20.95 and came with a ribeye steak, eggs, a side (I choose hash browns), and a bread (I choose a biscuit). The steak was okay it was tough even though it was cooked to medium temperature. The hash browns needed a little more seasoning. I my food was the best, but I attribute it to them being rushed due to the busy weekend. Overall my food was just okay. However, my family LOVED their food so I assume I just had the anomaly.I would definitely come again. It gets PACKED so I highly recommend putting your name on the waitlist before you actually arrive.
It is best to reserve a table in advance prior to coming. I reserved through the Yelp app and we were able to keep track of our place in line. Highly recommend doing this in advance. We still had to wait even after checking in, but that is to be expected. They are typically busy. There is a parking lot across the street and along the side street. Yes, this is one of the best breakfast/brunch places in Greensboro. My review will be no different than any one else 's, but I 'll share my awesome experience. The host was friendly and the waiters are top notch. This lady spilled water beside our table and they swarmed to clean it before I could finish blinking my eyes. It is a smaller place, so the seating in some areas are fairly close. The decor is cute. The food is served on porcelain dishes. Everything taste fresh and is cooked as you like it. I ordered the classic platter. I added peppers on my hush browns. It was so good. The sausage...my heavens...I don 't know where they get these from but I was getting full and I forced myself to finish them. Yes, I could have probably taken the last one home, but no I needed to eat them all right then and there. LolThe coffee was exquisite. My daughter 's French toast with strawberries looked amazing. When the plate was coming to our table, it caught several eyes. I could hear some whispers saying I want that... She finished them and said they were delicious. Go. Period.
Scrambled is an amazing local Southern Diner located in Greensboro! Our Greensboro team about once of month goes and visits Scrambled for their famous breakfast options! I always go simple and get the waffle! But they have some extraordinary unique options for breakfast lovers of all kinds! My review certainly won't do Justice when it comes to the food but I always have room to dine here and the service staff are super nice, on point are constantly moving! I had an amazing experience last time as I happened to run into our Lt Governor of NC Mark Robinson. Awesome experience and we look forward to going back real soon! Closed on Tuesday's tho!
