I ordered the vegan lunch combo with potatoes, while my husband opted for the same with collard greens. The red lentils and potatoes were my standout favorites.
I am a fan of Ethiopian cuisine and was thrilled to find a restaurant in Greensboro that is conveniently located on my way to my mother’s house. I visited towards the end of lunch service and found that I was the only customer there. The chef prepared my meal to order, allowing me to choose from a variety of entrees, but charged me the buffet price, which was more affordable compared to other Ethiopian restaurants I have visited. The portion sizes were reasonable, although I did request an additional side order of injera. While the Mesir wot, my usual favorite, was good, it wasn't the best I've ever had. However, I found the yellow split pea dish to be better than others I have tried. I would recommend giving this place a try, especially if you are new to Ethiopian cuisine.
Today, I visited this restaurant with a friend and tried their lunch buffet. To my surprise, most of the dishes on offer were vegan. My friend and I both liked the food, although some dishes were a bit too salty for my taste.
The food and people at this restaurant are wonderful! If you've never tried Ethiopian cuisine before, don't be afraid to ask questions and explore new flavors with your taste buds. I highly recommend this place, and make sure to try the tea.
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last Friday night, and it was a fantastic experience! Our server, Brandon, provided excellent service, recommending dishes, keeping our glasses filled, and checking on how we liked our food. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we will definitely return! I suggest that more people in Greensboro try this wonderful spot. PS: the red lentils are out of this world!
