Such a cute place, staff was exceptional, beautiful cats kitties, the BEST coffee I had almond torte with foam), so many great flavors, items to buy, fun to shop, hang out with the cats or have a drink. Love
While the cat cafe offers a fun concept and decent ambiance, their adoption process is frustratingly inefficient. We waited over three weeks after submitting adoption papers with zero communication, despite multiple attempts to reach out via calls, emails, and in-person visits. Staff deferred to their adoption partner, Wayward Whiskers, which proved equally unresponsive. While it’s a good spot to relax and play with kittens, I wouldn’t recommend adopting from here. After their delayed response, we chose a different adoption center due to communication concerns and a smoother process.
I will add photos next time I return here. Let me say this much. I kept seeing this cat cafe for the longest time anytime I drove up this road. I have been wanting to go there for a very long time, but always had a ton of work to do. I finally had the opportunity to visit here today. My idea of heaven has for the longest time been just having cats all around me to love. There is just something about a cat. Well, I didn't die, but for a brief time I was definitely in heaven, at least what is heaven for me. You would think with all the abandoned neighborhood cats I take care of as well as two of my own cats that I would already be satiated from the idea of cats. I love literally every cat in the world. The chance to spend time with them is not only beneficial to them, but also beneficial to me. All of the cats and kittens there are very loving. There is one room full of kittens and another room full of adult cats. The rooms are super well maintained. They have places to sleep, rest, play and plenty of places to sit as well as sun bathe.Like all places they do have rules you will need to follow. No screaming, running or chasing after the kitties. You can take photos, just no flash photography.Do not pet or disturb the cats if they are sleeping.Do not pick them up to hold them. You can pet them and play with them.Take off your shoes, just like they do in Japan before entering and never let them out of the rooms. Be careful upon exit and entry.Sanitize your hands before and after entry to cut down on cross contamination. All of the cats and kittens are up for adoption. They have a place to order snacks and coffee as well as a small thrift shop to purchase items that people have donated. The place is meticulously clean and the staff are some of the nicest staff I have met. They have been there since 2019.I felt very welcomed there and I would say going here is better than taking any anxiety medication, at least for me. This is one of the best places I have ever been to in this entire state of Pennsylvania. The parking lot is small, but parking is at least free while you are there.I know there is so much more I can say, but for now I will leave it at that until my next visit. It is so nice knowing that I have a place I can go, even if for just a short time to relax and enjoy my time with the kitties.
Anyplace w cats is always amazing but they also have rocks, crystals, sage, as well as a great selection of baked goods and baristas that remember the coffee that you love!!!
