We went for lunch and ordered off the lunch menu which is available until 2:30. We had more than we could eat since one of our choices was nachos supreme. I highly recommend the desserts.
Great food and inviting atmosphere. Went here to have dinner and we chose Mexican and we were not disappointed. Even as busy as they were and as short staffed as they were we were seated right away and our food was presented in a timely manner. We ordered the fajitas for 2 and wow. It is meant for 2 and we still took some home. The fajitas for 2 come with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Plus loads of fixings. They also make a mean drink. I would highly recommend this eatery if you are anywhere near Westmoreland Mall area and we will return.
Let me start by saying this IS a good restaurant... Unfortunately, it is just GOOD and nothing really special... I didn't experience anything here that would really blow me away... The wait staff is very friendly and I did not have to ask for a drink refill or anything else the entire evening... they we're so very attentive and that shows good leadership in management/ownership.. That is why I WOULD suggest this restauraunt to anyone reading this post... The food is average and I would simply compare it to a fancy Taco Bell at best. The beef is obviously a brought in product such as a boil in bag or something similar and the tortillas and taco shells are store bought as well... Tonight I had the grande special which consisted of a chili releno, burrito, enchalada, taco, tostada, with rice and beans. The same bland beef was used in everything including the taco... My meal was delivered before I could even eat a quarter of my chips and salsa which lends me to believe my opinion that the beef is a pre prepaired item brought in to the restaurant is true... Wednesdays are $2.99 margarita night... For $2.99 I wasn't expecting much... My margarita came out in a beer stein about 3/4 full and the waiter stated he had no more margarita glasses left... They have a margarita machine here that keeps everything cold and mixed up well... The taste was average for a $2.99 margarita but the beer stein really threw me off about the drink... Folks, here's a suggestion for you... Serve the margaritas in the small clear plastic cups as long as they are coming out of a margarita machine and charge .99 a cup since they are small portions.... That would parrellel a margarita machine special... My 4 star review is supported solely by the employees dedication to the customers as the food is simply average at best... Let me be clear, the food is average but still ok despite the bland beef... This restaurant is very clean and a pleasure to eat dinner in... My dinner including my margarita was $24 after a $5 tip so I think this place is about average on their price point... If you are in the mood for a Mexican food lunch or dinner I think this restaurant will fill that need... Please, do not compare it to anything that can be had in the southwest such as Southern California, Arizona, or New Mexico as it just doesn't stack up... Gracias Amigos!!!!
First time here. Generous portions, good atmosphere and friendly service. Chips were good and food came out quickly. Will eat here again.
Great service here for a party of 8! Our server, Bill, was fantastic! The margaritas were strong, fajitas served sizzling, and burritos were huge. Excellent family establishment
