La Vita's - Greensburg

Complete Satisfaction. If fresh, authentic, made to order Italian cuisine is what you 're looking for then this is your place. If fancy surroundings and 'ambience ' is your thing-keep looking! The food is prepared fresh as ordered so allow time or do what we did; look at a menu online and pre-order. It 's different and doesn 't allow for the ritual of looking over a menu and choosing right there when you 're hungry but it saves time. This is a byob place and from what I 've seen this is a popular thing. It 's important to keep this in mind because a quiet restaurant this is not. I 'm thinking that the best way to enjoy what Roseann has to offer is to go with a group, take some wine and make it an enjoyable dining experience for all of the adults. Having said that my wife and I will still go back when we can, IT 'S THAT GOOD!!

One word...AMAZING. We had our rehearsal dinner here in August. I called to get information, and was a bit intimidated of Roseann. We stopped in to meet with her and tried some of the food and she definitely warmed up and made us feel like we were at home. And let me tell you the food was TO DIE FOR. The chicken piccata is the best. For our rehearsal, we used the whole room (25 people) She served everything family style in HUGE portions. The price was great, it was BYOB, and the food was perfect. Everyone raved about it. I HIGHLY recommend! Thank you Roseann for making our rehearsal dinner perfect!!!!!

What a gem. My husband and I stumbled on this restaurant via Urbanspoon and thought we give it a try. Little did we know we were in for a real treat. It is a little neighborhood 'no frills ' restaurant that delivers fresh, homemade italian fare. The salad was exceptional with their housemade dressing. The chicken piccata was wonderfully tender and plentiful. The veal and sweet peppers were equally as good. We are picky and eaten in wonderful restaurants all over the world. It was so nice finding LaVita and enjoying a meal which was not nuked, pre-made, or been in a freezer. Roseann is a one person operation so don 't come if your in a hurry or want frills. Check it out if you want one great meal at a more than reasonable price.

We had the most amazing experience at La Vita’s. This restaurant has the most delicious, authentic Italian food with the welcoming charm of Italy. Our hosts were attentive and personal and made our amazing dinner all the more enjoyable. The endearing nature of the owners, welcoming you into their home, really … it was a special night. Enjoy a friendly chat with a neighboring table if you would like, bring your own bottles of wine, and the pictures on the walls seem to be a collection from generations. We will be back. No doubt.

My husband and I ate at La Vita's tonight for the first time. My husband had chicken piccata and I had eggplant parmigiana and both had a side of pasta. We started the meal with an amazing salad and then moved on to our delectable entrees. This was our first time there, but will become regular diners there! Thank you for your individually prepared, homemade meals!
