I love the farmhouse burger with fried egg on it! The sweet potato fries are made in house and also fantastic. The make your own salad is one of my favorites, and you can choose fries or sweet potato fries as one of your 6 toppings, so you can have your cake and eat it too in terms of choosing a healthy meal but still getting to eat fries. :D haha! I 've been here a few times, and the burgers and salads are both so good, I have trouble deciding which to choose. The service is good, the restaurant is clean, and the location is conveniently situated just off of main street in downtown Greenville. Also, they have their own parking lot, which is a luxury in the downtown area you don 't have to look for parking on the street. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which I haven 't tried yet, but when the whether is nice, I 'm sure we 'll have a meal outside. If you are in downtown Greenville and looking for a good burger spot, I 'd definitely give this one a try!
We visited American Burger Company during our trip to Greenville, and sad to say it was very disappointing. When dining in, you order at the register and take a seat wherever you like and they bring the food out when it is ready. The Friday we ate here, after placing our order, we waited for 45 minutes before only ONE of our meals came out. After another 10 minutes the second meal finally came out. We would have forgiven the wait if the food was amazing, but it wasn't. Kelsay had a bacon cheeseburger on a pretzel bun that was forgetful, and the best thing about her meal was the seasoned fries. I ordered the Route 66 burger (onion ring, bbq sauce, cheese, lettuce, tomato) and I was also not impressed. Unlike Kelsay's fries, mine were cold and didn't have any seasoning. Luckily we also ordered some onion rings that were surprisingly pretty good. safe to say, we won't be returning to the American Burger Company any time soon.
They must had a bad day The turkey burger was marvelous staff Very polite! All I can say is I'm coming back
Great knowledge of beer on hand and the Route 66 burger is exceptional. Plenty of TVs and outside dining in downtown Greenville. Good for groups sports. On Thursdays, ALL drafts are $2 all day! New hangout for football on Thursdays!!!
When you're downtown and you want a juicy burger!!! The Route 66 is the way to go. Onion ring, BBQ, and jalapeño perfection. Their onion rings and sweet potato fries are delish as well, but didn't order this time. Sometimes the service can be slow, but today it was spot on.
