Bagelman Bagels - Greenville

I do agree that when the manager is not there, they didn't fix my food right I was kind of mad ,bc my very first time going there I met the Mangers and my food was so good.

Bagelman has gone downhill since the owner is not there everyday. I waited 20 minutes for a bagel that was barely toasted and had barely any cream cheese on it. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down.

Their system was down, we did not get our food, and I’m still waiting on my refund.We ordered on the screen, sat down, and after 20 minutes a waitress comes up and asks the name for our order, we tell her and she says oh I think we have to remake it that it didn’t come through the system correctly or something, we were confused and I asked her if she needed to know what we ordered again and she said no she’s got it. After 30 more minutes she brings us food that is not ours, we tell her this and she says oh your order must have just been taken by another worker that happens when we’re super busy. She then wanted to retake our order but at this point we had no time to order again and I asked for a refund but their system was down, they refused to give me cash and they said they would call me to follow up and give me my refund. This was almost a week ago and I have yet to receive my refund.When this business is just a little bit slammed do not expect to get your correct order much less get your food at all.

My wife and I stop here when we are passing through town. Unfortunately we have never received a correct order at any visit. We had stopped coming a few years ago and decided to give them another batch of tries. Our orders are always rung up and ticketed correctly, but we never get that complete order, at any visit. Today we ordered two bagels to go and got one. Super frustrating. Makes me wonder why we started coming back?

I have only visited this restaurant once, out of curiosity about one particular item on the menu: the cheese bagel. I had high expectations for it, but ultimately felt disappointed. This was not the fault of the restaurant, but my own for not clarifying my expectations. The cheese inside the bagel was in square form and melted, whereas I had assumed they would use shredded cheese. This resulted in a noticeable difference in taste and quality for me. It was still a decent bagel, but I cannot help but wonder how it would have tasted with shredded cheese instead.
