Contribuisci feedbackDuring our visit to Greenville for a work conference, we discovered Giovanni's on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were thrilled with our decision as the food was out of this world and quite possibly the best Italian cuisine we've ever had at a restaurant. We enjoyed dishes such as lobster ravioli, scallops and shrimp over fresh pasta, and spaghetti for the kids. What stood out to us was the ability to choose our sauce (either red or creamy tomato), something we had never experienced before in an Italian restaurant. If you find yourself in the area and crave authentic Italian cuisine, be sure to visit Giovanni's. It was worth every penny and we still find ourselves dreaming about the delicious meal we had.
Tonight was our first time trying this restaurant. We originally planned to eat somewhere else, but there was a long wait. I called Giovanni's and they said the wait was about 30 minutes. I asked if I could put my name down and he asked if we would arrive promptly, as he had experienced no-shows before. I assured him that we were on our way and when we arrived in under 10 minutes, we were seated within 5 minutes. The service was excellent - when we asked for more bread and butter, it was brought out almost immediately. I ordered the veal parmigiana, while my wife opted for the lobster ravioli. The couple we were dining with ordered the spicy ravioli and requested to share it, with one wanting it spicy and the other wanting it mild. The dishes were presented beautifully and everything tasted perfect. This was our first visit here, but we will definitely be returning.
My man and I enjoyed a delicious meal for our anniversary at this restaurant. Despite being new to New York, we were delighted to find authentic Italian cuisine. We were very impressed and will definitely return.
Best kept gem in Greenville. The food is delicious. My table ordered the lobster ravioli, mushroom ravioli, ziti, sea bass, and lasagna. All were outstanding. Cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. They do not take reservations, but it is worth the wait.
This place is very small and cozy. The staff was great and attentive for a Saturday night. Chicken Parm was good, fried mozzarella was good and the Caesar salad was great. They bring out bread for you to snack on. It was good too. I'd go again
