Papi's Tacos - Greenville

This is a wonderful spot for a quick meal along the Falls Park Riverwalk. The tacos were delicious, with chorizo and shrimp being our favorites. There’s also a small selection of adult beverages. Seating is limited, but there are a few pet-friendly tables outside, and the views of the river are lovely both indoors and outdoors.

The meal prices are reasonable for downtown Greenville. The owner was friendly and made a point to greet every customer, clearly showing her dedication to the business. The restaurant is in a great spot by the river and near the amphitheater. We both ordered tortas; I had the chicken and chorizo, while my wife chose the Al Pastor. Both were delicious, and the bread had a pleasant texture—not too soft or too hard. The flavors were fresh and tasty, though a bit more meat would have been appreciated. We also enjoyed some chips and salsa, which were good, but the salsa they provided could use a little improvement.

I specifically ordered a burrito from this restaurant because it advertised refried beans as an ingredient. Most other Mexican takeout places only offer black beans. However, when I received my burrito, there were no refried beans at all—just black beans. I'm really disappointed! I'm also confused about the green tortilla. Why was that used?

True, authentic, Mexican food, that is served with excellence! And the best fish tacos this side of San Diego! (actually better than the ones I ate while visiting California! . Did I mention the Gelato? As good as it gets! All of this while choosing to to either dine in surrounded by genuine atmosphere, or enjoy outside dining, with a beautiful view of the reedy river falls park! I recommend Papi?s to everyone!

First time ever trying papi's and it did not disappoint at all, we went on a busy Saturday and there was one other couple there, the hosts was super helpful and helped us out on finding the best chose. I got the three street tacos and they were the best I've ever had from a restaurant. Well be back.
