Peaden's Grill Cafeteria - Greenville

In the past, Greenville had DW's, a go-to spot for late-night hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and BBQ. Although it's no longer around, you can still relive those flavor memories with some of the best hot dogs and burgers in town! The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only, featuring grilled items out front and delicious homemade country-style dishes in the dining room. I believe you'll really enjoy it—I guarantee it!

Home cooking at its finest! It's definitely got a southern flair because it's absolutely delicious! And don’t forget to try their sweet biscuits—they're a must!

The food isn't bad, but it's not the best Southern food I've had. It tends to be a bit bland in flavor, but the portions are generous; for just $11, you get a heaping box. If you have a sensitive stomach, I'd recommend opting for the leaner meats, like duck, to avoid feeling uncomfortable later, as I unfortunately did. In comparison, I think the old Ryan Buffet offers a better dining experience. From what I've observed, the breakfast options here might be a better choice than the lunch offerings.

The portion sizes were nearly as generous as a buffet! I enjoyed a hearty plate of country-style steak, rice, and rutabagas—true comfort food. I was there for lunch with a colleague. The pizza was almost as good as one from a pizzeria. Am I glad I came? Absolutely!

This place was a very pleasant surprise. I was in town for business and I thought I would try. People were very friendly and polite and were very patient with my first questions. It is not very often to be seen in these days, restaurant staff who are smiling and pleasant to interact. These people were exactly that. The food was just as good as her attitude. Very well made southern comfort food. Beef on rice and greens were delicious, and I will try their BBQ and chicken next trip.
