The Lazy Goat - Greenville

We hosted a dear fiend at a patio table, on his first visit to Greenville. We all enjoyed dinner and Connor, or server, was excellent. It is always a special treat when Keith Green, the manager, stops by to visit and to meet our guest.

The service was exceptional, and the food was remarkable, especially considering it's a foodie destination. Our group had a fantastic view of Falls Park, enhancing our dining experience. I could dine at The Lazy Goat every day without growing weary of it, thanks to the wide variety of options. The menu has only gotten better since my last visit, with updates to both the drink and dessert selections. We'll definitely be returning soon!

We visited for the first time during restaurant week and faced some challenges with parking. After searching, we found a spot on the street and entered the restaurant at street level. After checking in, we were guided to an outdoor elevator that took us down a level into the parking garage, allowing us to access the restaurant through the back door because, due to a disability, we were unable to navigate stairs. This was not the most inviting introduction to an "upscale" restaurant. I found no information about accessibility on their website. Additionally, an employee informed us that parking for Lazy Goat guests is available at a nearby hotel, but this information is not mentioned online.

The Lazy Goat consistently delivers a fantastic dining experience. Last night, we enjoyed a wonderful meal as part of Restaurant Week, complete with a delightful wine pairing. We also had the opportunity to chat with the sommelier, whom we met a few years ago. We talked about his recent certification, and he even took the time to address a question I had about the white wine we were enjoying. It’s such a lovely place, and I'm thrilled to see it so busy! It's great to witness this in Greenville!

We LOVED our entire experience at The Lazy Goat. It was a bit loud for conversation, but everything else went well. It was restaurant week so the price was very reasonable. There were four of us and we were very happy with our meals. The shrimp appetizer was so tasty. Our server told us it's not on the regular menu. I encourage you to add it to the menu. Three of us had the halibut and thought it was awesome. We will definitely return in the future.
