First, I want to give a shout out to the bartender, because he made one of the best mocktails I’ve had! It was a fruitpunch one and made me feel like I wasn’t missing out by not drinking. All of the food was delicious, and the highlights for uswere definitely the short rib and the chicken paillard. We also had some of the best chocolate truffles we’ve ever had fordessert! I totally want to come back for breakfast/brunch, and I think their pastries must be amazing too based on the quality Iexperienced in everything else. Love the bistro feel and how cozy the restaurant was!
The food is simply delicious here and the service is one of a kind too. Try have a great menu selection and the service staff are the best.
Food took a LONG TIME to come The restaurant was half empty 40 min for starters 1h 10 min for main course. Food is ok, nothing special.
Of all the places we ate while in Greenwich this place had the best ambiance. Had my first Potato rosti here which was really fun my wife had the Benedict w/ salmon and she noted healthy serving of salmon. We enjoyed our experience.
In the 1990s, this restaurant was a mainstay of dining on Greenwich Avenue. Currently it is a mere shadow of that previous experience. the food is good but gone is the ambience and this restaurant could easily be in Midtown Manhattan or Baltimore or Chicago. Way too noisy, overpriced even by Manhattan standards, and although a few of the staff members were friendly and kind , overall it feels like a mill get you in...$100...get you out. Sad to see the old Versailles gone.
