Sancerre by the glass was very good. Ceasar salad with shrimp was great, so was the calamari. Our waitress had a tendency to disappear when we were looking for her.

This restaurant would of got a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the service. The food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I had the grilled octopus and the wings for appetizers and then we had the steak and truffle fries. Delicious However, the service was not great. I had 1 sangria and she never asked me if I wanted another one as normally waiters and/or waitresses would do. So I didn't ask that's what they are supposed to when a customer just had 1 drink. When they brought our main dish out they didn't give us a fork and knive and no one was coming around I finally had to ask someone that worked there who was not our waitress for a fork They barely checked on us and were very unfriendly I would only recommend a friend to the restaurant for the food but if you want good service then don't bother.

4 girlfiends from NYC days who are spread from Westport to Bergen County, meet here for lunch every 6 weeks or so... for a lunch and catch up. Must say, it's terrific. Food, ambiance, vibe, convenient, parking, clean. We don't need to even think about any other places. TY

We had a delicious meal last night at the Gingerman! The manager placed us at a quiet table by the window which was absolutely perfect. My roast chicken with asparagus and mashed potatoes was super yummy. The steak frites was also very tasty. Can't beat the ambiance at the Gingerman for a casual and lively experience. The quality of the food is a super pleasant surprise. Well done and thank you!!!

Salmon BLT was great! Bissell Sprouts were too charred. Fries needed to be cooked moreso. Salad was delicious.
