Wine seems to be a big thing, and we sat next to the wine wall on our left, adding to the atmosphere. Servers were coming and standing next to our table. I asked them, what are you looking for? Barolo, they answered and I suggested that the labels and the bottle shapes didn 't suggest they were next to us and they found them back along the wall. The diner behind me tapped me on the shoulder and asked me for a Chianti. He caught me with his little ploy, and we both started laughing, engaging with the other tables. It 's that kind of place. I think they may have had a call off, and so our server was very good but very harried. Our cappuccinos took a while. She explained the maker needed cleaning and she tried to do it herself and it took time. We really appreciated her diligence and we all laughed again. The coffee wasn 't that good, and the machine needed some work, but it shouldn 't be up to a server. Dear owner: you need to have this taken care of at the end of shift or at the open....The wine choices are nice, and you 'll have a good time.
Wow, what a great experience. Our first time dining here. Our server Violet was a 10, as was our food. Can't wait to return. Thanks for a great birthday dinner!
What a local gem. The food is fantastic. We had the Short Rib and Salmon. 2nd time for me with the short rib, tender, so flavorful laid on a perfect potato puree. That and a good red! My wife had the salmon, she rarely orders salmon but cooked perfectly with a tasty carrot curry ginger. The staff are so friendly, as are the locals dining. Drop by, say hi and have a drink and a bite!
Eat drink and catch a good play all in a beautiful setting.
Had an amazing experience at Cast and Cru. The food was so well priced for the quality and flavor. The service was great and the atmosphere cannot be beat! It’s rare to find a quiet, serene restaurant in a busy town, but they somehow did it!
