Carre des Loges - Grenoble

Excellent Corsican cuisine, we eat very well for cheap. warm atmosphere and exceptional service.

My experience date from December 2013 and it may have been changed since. We had come for a dinner at the end of the business year.It was a catastrophe from beginning to end. fish too cooked, forget dish, antipathic waiter...etc...

We were 200 people, the meal started quite badly, the dish that followed the entrance. Even if some didn't get our chance, we had our dish when others were still waiting for their entry. for dessert, we waited almost 4h our melts so they still arrive in their aluminium packaging!!!! those who had fruit salads we were quickly served as a result we ate in decay (2h apart) which is not great when we are together. the clearing after three requests from the server it was never seen to arrive. Unfortunately, we couldn't take a lot of the evening in the box because we ended up eating at 2:00 in the morning. meals overall very disappointing, very unpleasant staff and when you don't have a kitchen, or the number of staff that is adequate to accommodate so many people you don't.

A superb address with a beautiful terrace, very sunny. From the aperitif with very good cocktails and tapas. for the meal, my choice is turned to a burger that I was offered to compose myself with a very nice choice (cornichon, fresh onion, caramelized onion, emmental, cheddar, pickle, bbq sauce ....) and especially a steak cut to the knife. Frankly, it's been a long time since I hadn't spent a night like this on grenoble. Thank you.

We were about 200 people and they really didn't. not enough servers, probably the same thing in the kitchen because a lot of waiting between dishes. We had our melts at 1:45 a.m. while the meal started around 9:00 p.m. and we were happy to have them because some didn't have it at all...more than an hour of shift between the first served and the last served. Same for the water where you have to get up is to go and look for it...In addition, the food was really not exceptional: a banal entrance and what was to be cream chicken with ceps was finally very dry (and I did not see a single mushroom).! Those who caught fish were no more thrilled than us... And in addition to all of this, the waiters were not really kind, instead of apologizing for the delay, they sent us out for a walk when we asked them where our desserts were!
