The french dish I ordered, entrecote, was good (well done and well presented). Two of us opted for Italian dishes, result a nightmare. First, escalope a la milaneaise; it was served with (in the same dish) spaghetti a la bolognaise as a side dish. Even worse the spaghetti carbonara in which the yolk was added on top of the dish and just to improve the taste mushrooms were added in good quantity. Vice-versa the Titamisu was at the level of an Italian chef. No Wi-Fi. Price extremely reasonable. Wait time acceptable. We didn 't dare to try the pizzas. Not bad, but absolutely avoid the Italian dishes!!!
We needed some food on a late Saturday noon (13:30). We were hungry and pressured for time so we weren't picky. We ordered a lasagne and a penne bolognaise. Both dishes were pure cantina food quality. The pasta sauce had zero taste (even after a considerate amount of pepper and salt). The lasagna was 80% dough, 10% meat and 10% cheese (granted the cheese was delicious) which made the dish really heavy and again little taste. Also only 1 toilet for the whole restaurant. On the upside the waiters were friendly.
This brasserie is ideal for a quick stop. Food is decent not expensive. Pasta portions are small, sorbet portions are huge AND very tasty (especially cassis sorbet)
We liked this restaurant a lot and ate here 3 times during our short stay! Their Burratta salad was specially lovely. The goat cheese one is really bad though, beware. The cheese seemed to be sour but they said it was like that, luckily they changed it for me.
The staff ignored us for quite a while. We should probably have taken this as a sign that we were in for a bad experience. The steak was tough and the staff indifferent.
