Restaurant Pizzeria Gässli - Greppen

The restaurant is very welcoming, food is excellent with good size portions, and the staff is very friendly especially the owner. Highly recommend.

We arrived in Weggis to find very little choices in the way of traditional food of a non-tourist nature. So we researched further afield and found Gassli about 7km from our hotel. It was such a lovely surprise. No English menu but staff SOOO friendly and attentive. We left feeling like we had made friends. The chef also came out to meet us and shake hands. We had pizza and then bratwurst and cordonblue - all fabulous - the rosti is to die for. Although full, we couldn't resist the dessert menu and had great tiramisu and Baileys ice cream. Wow. Then were given Limoncello's on the house to finish. Also had nice beers. We have promised to come back for the next 3 nights and we intend to do so. So happy that they are open for our stay as the day we leave Weggis is Assumption Day holiday and they will close.

Great food ,we tried dish of the day was good value for money and tasty it have 3 course , the owner was very friendly
