Joy Teriyaki - Gresham

I ordered a teriyaki bowl and a side of potstickers, and it was a terrible experience! The chicken was extremely dry, and even after adding two containers of teriyaki sauce, it didn’t improve. The potstickers were stale, and I even had several people try them to confirm. When I called to voice my concerns, the staff member shouted about how hundreds of people order each week and that no one complains. He wasn’t willing to do anything to resolve the issue! Overall, the service was awful and the food was even worse!

Absolutely disappointing. The food was incredibly dry, including the rice – and it was like that on both occasions! I will never return!

I had an unwelcoming experience at this restaurant. The cashier was rude and even rolled her eyes when I asked if we could use the restroom after making our purchase. I definitely won't be returning here. I recommend that others visit a different Joy Teriyaki location to avoid being treated poorly for simply needing to use the restroom. Nobody deserves to be mistreated for something that is a natural part of being human. It was really disappointing behavior.

Great beef teriyaki straight up!It's a little on the spendy side but hey, what isn't anymore?Atmosphere? Adequate for it's location. Plenty of tables to sit at. Very little chit chat with the staff so you can get right down to the business of eating. Buss your own table and push your chair back in and all will be well!

Basic Teriyaki lunch spot.They have a couple lunch specials that are a pretty good value.
