Black women supporting a black business! Unfortunately, we won't be supporting this one again. One lady ordered spirits and we waited for the verdict to see if we would join. We are still waiting as she never received that drink. Another lady ordered a burger, well done. The burgers took a while, after the other plates, but once it came, it was almost rare. When she pointed it out, another patty came her way. Just a patty, while her cold bun sat. A gentlemen came out to visit our table, not certain who he was. The lady without a drink clowned saying she needed a job, he immediately suggested a strip club. Wow, that's what we do?In conclusion, the food was okay, but when the check was brought, I had to return it or we would still be waiting for it to be picked up.

I'll start off with the good of the restaurant the service was above average. My family and I went for a birthday lunch. We had the bayou rolls and Cajun fries which were good. I ordered the mom's pot roast and my boyfriend ordered the etouffee which smelled rancid and tasted sour. I will never dine there again.

This place was awesome! The cornbread they bring to the table is so warm and flavorful. The smothered catfish plate was just the right amount of food! I didn't leave hungry or feeling sick from over eating. The chef makes amazing dishes! He made an awesome chicken and waffle sandwich back when he was operating out of a small restaurant in a hotel in Gretna. This man doesn't disappoint!!!

My family and I visited southern charm on 7/18 for the first time. We were all amazed by how good the food was . We had both the crab and crawfish chargrilled oysters, spinach dip , Brussels sprouts, Eggplant entree, seafood pasta , corn bread dressing and lagniappe burger. Every dish was a 10/10. Cocktails are really good too. Food came out promptly and service was exceptional . We returned on 7/24 and had the same excellent experience . This time we also had the bayou rolls and they were so good . My husband is obsessed with the lagniappe burger . We eat our frequently and southern charm will definitely be on the list of top 5 restaurants we visit often.

I can't believe this place has been here for almost a year and this is my first time coming here. This place is one of the best restaurants on the Westbank. Food is amazing, the staff is very friendly, the chief greets you at the table and everything is fresh. Please visit this place you won't be disappointed!!!!! This will become a regular place for me.
