Priya Indian - Greymouth

We ordered Chicken Karahi and Korma and they were very tasty. The restaurant is super clean with an extremely friendly staff. Thanks and highly recommended.

We are travelling through Greymouth, and we spotted this Indian restaurant. As we stepped into the restaurant, we had a good feeling about the quality we could have. It was nice and tidy. We tried out two dishes: the butter chicken and the lamb handi. The chicken and the lamb were tender; the butter chicken sauce was slightly sweeter than usual, but it was tasty. The sauce for the lamb was also great; we liked the spicyness and the rich flavour. We also loved the garlic naan bread, which had a nice balance between the seasoning and the bread as well. As a bonus the staff was friendly and professional, not pushy always came at the right time.

Food was as delicious as it always is. Great service and even though we hadn't been in for a couple of months the man taking our orders remembered exactly what we always have. Our only complaint was that the restaurant is very cold.

Excellent meal and worth the price. We were very surprised to find authentic indian cuisine in Greymouth. We didnt expect much because the decor its not your typical indian restaurant and it says cafe and restaurant at the name sign. Definitely worth a visit if you are craving a good meal in a nice ambience when you are in Greymouth.

Passing through Greymouth and stopped for lunch. Indian food isn't usually on our radar but the food here was nice. Quick service, clean, polite, tasty. Would stop here again if ever in Greymouth.
