Casa Lupe - Gridley

They made my big burrito with fresh ingredients. Tasted delicious. Great flavor. They have made my burritos every time I go there, absolutely excellent. In Gridley. I will continue to go there and they're market. If you haven't tried it. I highly recommend that you go there. Only thing is the restaurant is closed on Monday's. Great parking lot. Many places to park.Kid-friendliness: Great service.

I had a chicken taco salad.I was disappointed..ThePortion was very small .IUsually go 2 the Yuba CityCasa Lupe.. There chickenTaco salad never disappoints.

My bf and I went too Casa Lupe and the food was pretty good..I'm from San Jose and I love Mexican food. Especially tamales and chile Verde.I order the combo plate with tamale and a chile Verde burrito..The tamale was AMAZING!! 5 stars for the pork tamale!!The reason for the 4 star review was for the chile Verde burrito...the amount of onion in the burrito was WAAAAYYYY to much. Or I got the entire onion that the chile Verde was cooked with in that burrito..It was excessive...Staff was nice, they have a small bar, and about 7 tvs around the place.I'll go back again of I'm in Gridley.The order will just be double tamales.

I tried the Sopa de Albondigas. It was very bland, but i got a side of fresh jalapeños, cilantro, and lemons. Once i added these ingredients and SALT. The meatballs needed some flavor also, taste like plain hamburger.

We've always preferred the Gridley location over the Yuba City one. I don't know what happened, but we had the worst experience we've ever had at the Gridley restaurant. First of all, I made reservations well in advance and was told everything was set. I called 35 minutes before my reservation to let the restaurant know the number in our party had changed. I was put on hold and the person that answered the phone came back and indicated we were again all set and thanked me for calling. We arrived at our reservation time, and we were told there was no reservation. No one at the restaurant seemed to know anything about it. We ended up having to wait for over 35 minutes. My husband's ground beef enchilada dinner was cold, and he said the rice was inedible. I barely had any meat in my chili verde. The staff was nice, and we did get a discount on our bill, but we were extremely disappointed in our evening.Hopefully this was just an off night.
