I was there for the wedding of a couple who were friends of mine. The hotel is located on Mulde, which is ideal for taking a walk when the weather is good. Nearby there is a small museum about the ship mill and a lookout point and Bismarck tower. If you hike along the Mulde you have the opportunity to visit the Nimbschen monastery ruins from the ship mill. The hotel's service staff was very friendly and averse to any of the guests' requests. The guests' needs were therefore taken into account and none of them were left unfulfilled. Both breakfast and dinner left nothing open. An extensive breakfast buffet offers young and old, vegetarians/vegans or not everything you need for a good start to the day. The dinner I had the option of eating both a la carte and buffet left nothing to be desired. The food was served quickly. In my opinion, it's almost a little too fast. This statement is not intended to reduce the overall rating. It is modern, good, home style cuisine. The dishes are prepared with love. It should also be said that the food in the restaurant is slightly above average. However, the price performance ratio is right. The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished and of the highest standard. The hotel also has a sauna area, which is recommended. Afterwards, I can only recommend the Schiffsmühle, be it for a family celebration, for lunch or dinner, or for a (long) weekend to switch off.
