Village Grille - Grosse Pointe Farms

Lux Bar and Grill in Grosse Pointe has quickly become one of my favorite neighborhood gems. Their happy hour menu is exceptional, offering a delightful array of choices that cater to all tastes. The Brussels sprouts are a must try perfectly crispy and flavorful. The calamari is another favorite of ours, always cooked to tender perfection. When it comes to the main course, the Lux burger stands out as my all time favorite. It's a classic done right, and on days I'm feeling a bit more indulgent, the barbecue Lux burger adds that extra touch of decadence. As for drinks, their martinis are simply unmatched, making it my go to beverage every time. But what truly sets Lux apart is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The comfort of the setting combined with the kindness of the staff ensures every visit is memorable. It's these qualities that solidify Lux Bar and Grill as a cherished spot in the neighborhood.

Cute place, great food, friendly staff. It sounds so basic, but the grilled cheese and tomato soup was out of this world!!! Hubby loved his mushroom burger and raved about the arugula potatoes (he only allowed me to have literally one piece). The calamari and wings were just okay. The next time we go, we'll definitely be trying some different starters.

It is surprising how few places are open in Grosse Pointe on a Sunday afternoon, but we managed to find Luxe today and were grateful for it. Warmly welcomed, we sat at the bar for drinks and a meal. My friend ordered an Old Fashioned and I decided to follow. Our bartender made them to order and they were perfect and delicious. Nicely mixed, nicely garnished and perfect ice cubes. For main, I chose the chicken wings. Quite meaty and not drenched in sauce, they had a reasonable amount of heat and the small pot of bleu cheese actually had bleu cheese crumbles sprinkled on top. A nice touch. My friend had a burger and polished it off, declaring it delicious. Overall, a good experience that was enjoyed. [Review 17976 overall 369 in Michigan 1497 of 2022.

I have been wanting to check this place out for quite some time. Well that day finally came! I stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink. I really enjoyed the ambiance of Luxe. They had just opened when I got there, which was nice because I got to chat with the staff for a while. It got busy as my time went on.. I nibbled on some nachos and enjoyed a whiskey sour. I will definitely be back!

I love this place. Great food and great service especially from Graham! He is an excellent server and makes TERRIFIC Manhattans!
