Café Mehlbeere - Großenbrode

Delicious coffee... nicely strong and finally no small cups. Thank you. But there is also a wide selection for tea lovers. The cakes are all baked and the service is very warm. Inside and outside, everything is lovingly designed, you feel like on holiday, even if you may not. The best thing we found was the small scattered particles.

Were in early December at a Monday in the beautiful small café. Very delicious. Everything's done. The cheese cake and the Swedish apple cake are recommended! It is cozy, and you feel welcome. It is also particularly nice that we could take a few small gifts from the souvenir corner for Christmas. Things that reminded us of our Sweden holidays and things that exist only there. We're coming back!

We went to the Café Mehlbeere on a recommendation as we couldn't find another café in the place today. And that was a good recommendation! Slightly hidden, up in the place is this café. After it first looks inconspicuous from the street, it is like in a beautiful green oasis after you have gone through the gate. Great, homey atmosphere! The cake is exceptionally delicious. No huge cream cakes that only look good and taste nothing, but self-baked cakes of different sizes, sometimes with freshly picked fruits. And cheese cakes like my mother used to.

Very delicious homemade cake. No mass goods. Cosy garden and super nice service.
