1909 - Grove

I'd like to say everything was perfect, but it wasn't. After last time we had to wait a while, because we had no reservations, our fault. We've reserved at 7:00 tonight. We arrived 10 minutes early and we sat right away. We ordered our drinks and the waiting started. About 15 minutes later our waitress returned with our drinks and took our order. By the way, there were only 2 of us at 8:00, we asked for some bread because we were about to starve and after an hour and 10 minutes we had no food yet. At 8:25 we were finally served our lukewarm entries. We became a dessert for the inconvenience. What really could be a great restaurant for Grove will probably fail if they can't get their act together. This was a dinner that tried to give 1900 another chance after a similar experience 2 weeks ago. It turned out that this time was worse than 2 weeks ago.

Wow, what a jewel! The food is the most unique in the area and everything we tried was delicious. We even went two nights in a row. The pig bell and the chocolate cake almost brought tears to my eyes because they were so good! I wish I could go more often!

This restaurant was a surprise. The quality of food and service was from a higher quality than many places I found in many city center restaurants in larger cities. They have a surprising selection of beer and wine for every restaurant in the area. I recommend this restaurant.

So atmosphere was wonderful and our waitress was great, the food came pretty looking and had great ingredients, but not one of us 4 felt that it tasted as good as it looked. We wouldn't go back there because

1909 is a great place for food and drink. They offer gluten free options and they have a full bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Great ambiance!
