Maxim' - Gruissan

We were on an ultra-cold walk, windy and sunny. nice to lunch stopped by coincidence and so glad we did. the personal was so warm, courteous and attentive. that was extraordinary....we had only the menu of the day every other than young! we all had. different dishes and they were all enthusiastic. would recommend this restaurant!

Not many restaurants on the harbour in gruissan on a week open October day so decided to give this place an attempt. had the menu jour. very good. the mushrooms of the cuddly were hot and cheeky and skinned, served in a Escargot dish. Beignet... from supions were delicious. the mains were ossobucco with pasta and guardien de toro, also with pasta. both excellent ossobucco had even the traditional orange nest in the sauce, and the guardien was juicy and tasty. only the complaining there was too much to eat. I couldn't eat pasta. not a room for the gloomy, we didn't take any wein so we couldn't comment. the personal was attentive and pleasant. great view over the harbour and comfortable seating. will return to gruissan.

A warm welcome from the pleasant waitress; good seat in the shadow; fast provision of menus and aperos. the fish dishes were extremely tasty and uplifted, service was prompt, attentive and smiling. we have been going to this restaurant for several years, but last year, when the service and eating were not good. happy back to the old high standards so that we return

This is a family-run restaurant next to the marina in gruissan. beautiful location as, in winter they have a good view from the inside and in summer a terrace outside. eating is good and naturally tends to a wide range of seafood. they have a menu...du jour at 17 euro (jan 2018) with a reasonable choice as well as a la carte. also a good selection of pizzas. also the wine prices are good.

The menu is varied without being too big. With limited vegetarian options in France it was good to see thoughtful alternatives. Pizza was v good the duck very generous in size. Good views of the main bridge harbour. Worth a visit.
