Suður-bár - Grundarfjoerdur Island

This place was a sweet B&B that we stayed one day at during our round trip across the country. We loved how quite it was and how clean and simplistic the house was. The ocean view across the field and the sunset was calm and therapeutic! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

One of our bests stays on Iceland. Warm welcome by the owner, great room with new bath. We had to leave early for the ferry so they prepared the breakfast 30min earlier, just for us. The location is also great because it is remote but with great views. Would love to stay there again.

We stayed here yesterday for 1 night: 1) view out of public space is amazing, cfr sunset on photo. Lots of up to date enjoyable games 2) flexibility of host is superbe. We wanted to switch our booking which was not refundable one night, he agreed because there was availability immediately 3) rooms, property are super tidy. Bathroom is very clean, showers are great. 4) beds are amazing 5) breakfast is very good, lots of choice for a guesthouse Final: we had a flat tire in the morning and he helped us without hesitation. Thanks a lot once again. If you are in the region, be sure to overnight here. The combo is difficult to retrieve in other places.

The place is very nice and staff are friendly. The room was small, but clean and nice. Thé double bed was too small, I think 140 cm width, which was not comfortable. The sélection at breakfast was poor : for example, no fruits at all, no warm options for food

Cozy and quiet guesthouse. Clean and with an amazing view on Kirjufell. Breakfast is good too. Recommended!
