Refuge Giacomini - Gryon

The Giacomini refuge has unfortunately completely lost what made its charm: spirit and atmosphere have deserted the place. A young and friendly team certainly does everything possible here, but today it is an altitude bistro like the others. Dear Cicilia, We had a great stay at your refuge. The food, the staff and the rooms were perfectly fine. After the standerd menu the asked if we would like another plate and we got a pasta with meat for free. Compiments to the chef and Cecilia! Merci beaucoup! Rooms: Clean and good. The 2023 team is fabulous! The place is beautiful, I had very good times there a few nights, to advise!

Beautifully situated refuge on the edge of the Grand Muveran. It was see little going on. Probably due to the weather, even though it was a Sunday. The room could only be occupied very late, which I couldn't understand given the low occupancy (storage room for sole use). Food was good and breakfast was sufficient. Great and sufficient sanitary facilities. Everything was clean.
