I just came back from a dinner that was quite basic but expensive. If I wasn't staying at the hotel, I wouldn't choose to eat here again. The dining area was closed, so service was in the lobby bar area near the restaurant. The New York strip steak was cooked as I requested and was a good quality cut of meat. However, the vegetables were overcooked and not well-prepared. The potatoes reminded me of instant mashed potatoes from the past. The food took a reasonable amount of time to be prepared and brought to the table, but the order was a bit odd as the rolls came 15 minutes after the main course. Some people around me received their orders incorrectly. The wait staff apologized for the mistakes, but the time it took to correct them disrupted the flow of the dinner. The servers were not very attentive, which wasn't a big issue for me as I prefer not to be interrupted often, but it would have been nice to at least be asked about drink refills or dessert options.

I was staying at the hotel next door and checked in on a very busy night with a large event. I decided to get takeout from the restaurant and the server was patient and attentive. Even though I just ordered a cheeseburger and fries, they were freshly made, satisfying, and extremely delicious!
