We ate there before a show at the Birchmere. The food was very authentic and tasty. The portions were large and prices moderate. Outstanding Momocha dumplings!
Best Nepalese place in the town hands up! Lovely ambience, friendly staffs and amazing food!
I made reservations for my son's 16th birthday, and this is the restaurant he chose because he wanted to try Nepalese food. We drove half an hour to get to this restaurant based on the reviews. I was disappointed as this is a diner type of restaurant and not the atmosphere I was expecting. I gave them my name, and it became clear that reservations are not needed as they said for us to sit wherever we wanted. The appetizer, samosa chaat was delicious. The 3 curry entrees we ordered were good. They also brought us another appetizer which we hadn't ordered but returned as we didn't want to be charged for it. As we were finishing, the server asked us if we ever received the bread basket and pickles. What bread and pickles? This was not the experience I was hoping for. Seemed as though they were shorthanded. I appreciate them trying their best. Also, it ended up costing us about $30-40.00 per person as a reference.
The food was delicious. Reminded me of home and the service was outstanding! Really loved it. Would definitely recommend.
