The gumbo was terrible.. it was basically gravy flavored gumbo... Refrigerated.. quickly warmed up and lutteray thrown together and all for the price of 14.99 ... Trash
This place has been in business for 18 years and has phenomenal quality seafood incredible taste it is definitely a must stop and the fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve ever had and I’ve had it for the last 30 years elsewhere Joe is the best in the metroplex their crawfish and every part of their seafood menu is fresh it is incredible. Try it out for yourself and always remember supporting family owned. Businesses are always needing great support especially when the food is so damn good.
Ordered fried pickles and fried calamari and it was heavily battered with no seasoning, and over cooked chewy calamari. The crawfish with sausage egg potato and corn came out hot in thin plastic sacks so seeping chemicals into your food. Ordered spicy on boiled seafood and it was not, very plain and flavorless. Crab legs yet no crab leg cracker? And the waiter never came by after the appetizer was dropped off, was cold before I could ask for ketchup. The food came and no one came to refill drinks or ask anything. No staff visible to go ask. The tv was on the lamest channel and glitching, the music sounded like nursery rhyme instrumentals. Only table in the whole place on a Friday at 5.
I paid for 2 pounds of crawfish and only received 1. My fault because I didn't check the bag..
