It was a great place to eat and it was a very friendly place to eat
The food is homemade and absolutely delicious! Wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to see this lovely refreshed restaurant thrive!
We had such a lovely experience! My husband and I were visiting Darlington to run an errand. We popped in for breakfast with a friend. We had the opportunity to meet the lovely owner/talented chef! When we arrived there were only a few tables of people present. The entire restaurant completely filled up during our stay. Between the sole waitress and the owner, we were dining relatively quickly for such a busy morning. The food would be well worth the wait anyway. My 3 mini quiches were made to order! The crust was flaky and delicious, the egg was the perfect balance of creamy and puffy. The veggie and cheese ingredients melded very well. The cinnamon raisin toast was delicious. My husband had scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns, and sausage. He enjoyed everything. We took a gorgeous big blueberry muffins and everything bagel home for later. These were delicious as well. (When do you find homemade bagels at a diner??? The decor: I love the beautiful tin ceiling that has survived over a century of use! The restaurant was thoughtfully renovated in the popular modern farmhouse style that works great in this environment. While Darlington is a bit of a drive, I can 't wait to go back and try more of the menu! The french toast specialties sounded amazing!
Food was great, waitress was really nice.
