I eat here every time I stay at Double Tree in Lexington, Ky. The bartender is very friendly and the food is delicious. It is a little pricey but it is worth it. I would recommend this place to everyone.
The menu had more variety that similar hotel properties, and both the times I have had dinner at the hotel, the food has been very good. There is a breakfast buffet that is fairly standard, with an omelet/waffle station and the usual choices.
After touring the area all day we decided to 'stay in ' for a meal. There was no host on duty and only one other guest waiting to be seating a 8 p.m. Should have told us something. The bartender from the adjacent area ran over to seat us and then found someone to serve us. Food was just mediocre.
DoubleTree Hotels On our recent stay in your DoubleTree Lexington KY hotel on Richmond Rd. Our hotel stay was fine but your restaurant inside called Angie's was horrible. My meal on the evening of May 3rd, 2017 was inedible. The waitstaff was very unresponsive or cared that I could not eat my meal, just removed my plate and never asked nor said anything. I sent a letter to the hotel desk and they did nothing. We were waiting to see if they would remove the charge of the meal, yet did nothing. Very disappointed in the quality of food and service at Angie's.
