Delicious Mexican food and they have a delicious seafood molcajete.
Very quaint small business. The staff was very friendly. My Molcajette was over cooked. The chicken and beef were very tough. It tasted good though. My wife had a Pollo with vegetables, rice and questions. She said it was great. My son had a burrito which was huge!! He also said it tasted great. Would try again.
The guac is made to order and is easily the best I’ve ever had. I got the empanadas and they were delicious. I can’t remember what the dish was my husband ordered but it was basically a sausage and potato sandwich but very tasty.
I tried this place at the last moment since my first choice was closed. It looked rustic, yet nice from the outside. The food was decent but a bit pricey considering the portion.I have to admit that I wonder about food safety. On at least two tables (including mine), there were bottles of mayo upside down next to the ketchup, mustard, and other condiments. Apparently they didn't get the memo that mayo needs to be refridgerated.I was also disappointed that they didn't have fountain drinks. Rather, we had to order bottles of soda to go with the meal. The waitress seemed friendly enough (though she did mess up part of our order).I can't say it was a bad experience, but there are too many better Mexican places in town for me to return to this one. It was fine, but pricey and limited. Best of luck to them!!
