Stromboli - Guadalajara

Wanted a quick tasty pizza on our overnight stay in Guadalajara and after checking on TripAdvisor opted for this place. Good choice, Freshly made thin and crispy delicious pizza 's (our choice was the Stromboli served in a setting that could turn people watching into an art form. Efficient friendly service and good value for the money. My wife and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any friends visiting the city.

Living some 15 km away from the Stromboli, it is a permanent temptation for us to go to Stromboli when we crave for pasta and pizza. This cozy restaurant is also a venue of choice in Guadalajara for the locals, and you see familiar faces time and time again. Stromboli's magnetism is powerful indeed. Excellent thin-crust pizza cooked in a stone oven in the best Italian tradition, tasty pasta dishes, yummy lasagnas, balanced risottos... I have my favourites of course (like the Spaghetti Marinara and the Rissoto Nero), but all dishes I have tried were really good. This restaurant opened over 25 years ago and has been under the same management every since. The a-la-carte menu and specials have evolved and improved constantly over the years, while staying true to the values I experienced in my very first visit very many years ago: tasty, good-for-you food with fresh ingredients and friendly staff. To me, Stromboli is probably the best restaurant in Guadalajara also when it comes to service: waiters are knowledgeable and agile, always friendly, but always professional. A key fact if you need gluten-free dishes: Stromboli is the only place I know in Guadalajara where you can get gluten-free pasta, brought straight from Italy.

We stayed in Guadalajara before flying out of Madrid (after a Spain-France-Italy trip) and felt we had not had our fix of Italian. We enjoyed sitting outside watching all of the people walk by on the parks path. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent- we had a caprese salad and a recommended fettuccine dish and a pizza. Everything was delicious! The wine was also very good.

Lugar 100% recomendable. Si eres amante de la carne pide la vaca gallega a baja cocción, que está increíble. Ubicado en el Parque de la Concordancia, que es un sitio muy bonito para pasar una linda velada. Nos encantó. Volveremos.

Buen lugar. agradable, con buena atención, comida muy rica, precio promedio. los postres de 10. para mejorar, no recibí el cargo extra de la cubierta (aunque es un italiano que estás en una araña) y no tienes opciones veganas. Todavía le doy 5 estrellas.
