Chinos Tacos N Things - Guadalupe

Out on a bike ride tonight when we were cruising thru the quaint town when we decided to stop and have dinner, kinda late looked like we were going to have to head back to Santa Maria when we found this jewel on yelp, 5 stars for my attention but only one review let's try it, right ?! Walking in we were hit with fresh smells of great Mexican seasoning and and a warm glow from the kitchen. After ordering we sat down to a nice plate of jicam and cucumber but we had to order chips and salsa, so we did and well worth the 4 bucks, fresh chips were made for us piping hot, three different bottles of homemade salsas and one dish all great, a little runny but super flavorful with good kick. I ordered the tour de Mexico and was quite impressed. We will definitely be back.

Today in Guad the power went out earlier, and most businesses close down for the rest of day so I decided to try someplace new. These guys were still up and running....walked in and was met with some traditional family vibes....including what looked like family or close friends that came in behind me and walked straight back into the kitchen to an impromptu happy family meeting. I special ordered my own combo (because I just have to be a difficult person like that , and they were quite accommodating. I even asked if they could make my salsa extra spicy to fend off this cold I feel coming on..... And oh my god did they ever. Apparently the father (possibly owner? Of this restaurant makes his own chili oil.... And it sufficiently messed me up in the best way. It was amazing and the food was great. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely delicious Torta and the most amazing Cheesecake burrito and ice cream!! Will definitely be back!
