St. Orres - Gualala

My best friend and I visited the restaurant to celebrate our birthdays, and it was an incredible experience. The dinner was just as amazing as it has been during previous visits over the years. I highly recommend this place. Our server was delightful and brought so much fun to the evening. Rosemary, the chef and co-owner, is a true genius; her salad vinaigrette is the best I've ever tasted. Thank you for another wonderful meal and memorable time at St. Orr!

I absolutely love this place. It's peaceful, with no TV, allowing you to fully appreciate the sounds of the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. We really enjoyed the Japanese soaking tub, too. Our cabin, Sequoia, was stunning, featuring plenty of beautifully varnished wood.

The restaurant is just a short 5-minute drive from Wander Anchor Bay. Typically open from Thursday to Sunday, we enjoyed dinner at the outdoor high-top tables on the porch, and the food was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was charming, and I highly recommend it. If you want to dine in the main dining room, it's a good idea to make a reservation. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with great food on the bar porch!

This place has a healing Element to it. If you wish to disconnect from hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! The property is stunning. The cabins are gorgeous and made with such mindfulness. For example, the Jacuzzi tub in the black chanterelle has a window that faces the ocean. You can look out while relaxing in jetted luxury. The private sauna is absolutely divine. The Restaurant made me want to eat there every night I stayed. The food is phenomenal; the presentation is art. I have vacation here several times and never been disappointed. High quality luxury and rustic experience at the same time.

When all the entrees are $60, you expect great service. The service was at best adequate. I had the scallop entree and got 3 scallops. You are charged $5 for bread. So while the food was tasty and the ambiance unique, I would not recommend this place for dinner. Maybe come for a drink, but we sat in the bar for 10 minutes before dinner and no one came by to take a drink order.
