Maria Bonita - Guanajuato

My husband and I had a difficult time to find this hidden jewel, but once we found it, it was a great little lunch place. The owner and her husband were very courteous and the food was authentic mexican at a great price. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone for a little lunch.

At Casa de la Presa near Presa de la Olla, Maria Bonita offers excellent authentic dishes! This is a family-run restaurant located in a beautiful Victorian house in the Presa. They offer a wide range of traditional dishes, including pollen con mol, enchiladas mineras, pozole, carne asada, flautas and more. The kitchen is tasteful and they are happy to make things more or less sharp when you ask. Everything is really clean and the staff is very helpful. The young server speaks pretty good English. I had most of their menu items and I can say that my favorites are Pozole verde and enchiladas verdes. Definitely the best pozole I've ever had! Prices are very reasonable. Most items cost under $70 pesos, and the menu of the day is currently $55 and includes 2 courses and drinks. It's very good! I recommend it to everyone who enjoys real Mexican cuisine. The house is really nice and the food and service are excellent. Maria Bonita is just beginning, but we need more places like this in GTO! Very recommended.

El servicio es muy bueno, eres atendido por los dueños quienes son muy agradables. Los precios son muy accesibles aunque la comida podría este un poquito mejor. Lo recomiendo
