Van Gogh Gastronomia - Guarapuava

We were in town overnight, and our hotel (different review) said this was the place to eat.It was not busy for a Saturday night, so we got a good table quickly and with an pleasant staff. Most dishes are designed as "for two" so I do not know what happens to solo diners.We had a steak with a pasta and Quattro fromage sauce. The steak was cooked to a medium temperature (we were not asked our preference) and I enjoyed while my wife found it undercooked. The pasta was fine but uninspiring, particularly for the price. We elected for a 1/2 bottle of reasonable Chilean cabernet but felt the pricing was high for what we drank. Pleasant but not memorable would be the overall review.

The restaurant has a very tasty food. I ordered a funghi risotto and it was excellent. The bier was great as well as the service. It is the best in Guarapuava. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Ideal for couples.

Every time I visit the city for business, I simply HAVE to go to this restaurant. In my opinion, it is the best in the city. Very good food, and very nice attention! Ask for the local beer!

A very charming and beautifully decorated restaurant. Comfortable chairs, excellent food, perfect service. The only drawback is that it is little expensive.

Beautiful pizza - next time wants to taste her pasta dishes
