Super helpful owner/sommelier. Wide selection of local wines. Beautiful setting. Set right next to a wonderful Cathedral. A must see!

I totally recommend this place!!! Good selection of wines and super friendly staff!! You can sit outside near the historic church and just enjoy a glass of wine with the perfect atmosphere!! It’s super cozy inside so you can also enjoy the place during the winter time! It’s definitely a 5 star wine house!

I absolutely loved this place. The owner who served us was kind and very knowledgeable,explaining a lot about the region and the wine. The cheese board was delicious also with a good variety of local produce to try. I will return when in Guarda. Thanks for your great hospitality!

We were very fortunate to discover Bago a Bago and Daniel Pires the owner. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about wine and the various wine regions in Portugal. He has a fantastic selection of wines at every price range and really good food platters to accompany them. We spent way too much time here and enjoyed every minute talking to Daniel , he knows his business and wine. Don’t visit Guarda without visiting. He is right next to the Cathedral so you can’t miss it.
